Police asking for help after 2 women were shot Monday afternoon in Asheville – WLOS

Asheville police are asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything Monday when two women were shot at Livingston Apartments, to please contact them

Police say the two women were taken to Mission Hospital at around 4:30 p.m. Monday.

One neighbor told News 13 crews she heard a loud boom, saw one of the victims grab her chest and then fall down. She says the other woman was bleeding.

Another neighbor said she drove up shortly before the loud boom and saw one of the victims leaning against a white pick-up truck.

The investigation seemed to center around that truck where two evidence markers were placed on the ground near articles of clothing.

At last check, both victims were being treated at Mission Hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

No one is in custody. Police are asking anyone who saw or heard anything to call 828-252-1110.
