Woman confronted for allegedly stealing flowers from a cemetery on Mother’s Day – 9Honey

A video has been posted on Facebook showing a man accusing a woman of stealing flowers from the graves of deceased mums on Mother’s Day.

If true, it really was a most despicable act.

The footage shows a confrontation between a woman carrying two large flower displays and a man who is following her and filming her. In the video the man alleges he witnessed the woman steal the flowers from nearby Salisbury Cemetary in Adelaide.

He begins the video by asking her, “Excuse me, can I ask where you bought the flowers from?”

The woman stops and turns around, telling him she bought them at the train station, which the man disputes, accusing her of taking them off the graves at the cemetary.

She begins to walk away as he follows her, accusing her of the theft.

“You are stealing flowers from that people have taken for their mums,” at which point the women interjects, again saying, “I bought them from the train station.”

He says, “You had nothing in your hands, I was watching you.

“What have you stolen them for? People have sat them there for their mothers who have passed away, and you steal them.”

She continues to deny she stole the flowers, saying, “I did not,” while walking down the road, carrying a flower display in each arm. When the man asks her why she doesn’t take them back she ignores the suggestion and continues her denials.

The man asks to see the receipt for the flowers but she declines to show him, at which stage he begins to become really agitated.

“You’ve just stolen them. I can’t believe that. That’s sickening. I actually almost vomited.”

When she then says she bought the flowers from the city, the man asks her for the name of the shop, to which she says, “None of your business.”

He then says, “You’re a f—– dog. You’re a f—– dog, you should be shot.

“You should be f—– shot.”

She says his claims are false and he responds, “They’re not false. I just saw you f—– pick them up and walk out of the cemetary.”

The Daily Mail contacted the South Australian Police but were told by a spokesperson that no complaint had been filed. They also tracked down the woman in the video but she refused to comment on the encounter.
